Advanced formulation

Group by note type

Organise a formula by top, heart, base or solvent for clearer composition and easier adjustment. Available in both modes.

IFRA compliance analysis PRO

Check a whole formula against the IFRA standards in your library, category by category. Each result reads compliant, non-compliant or not assessed: a material with no IFRA data never passes, and one used on several lines is added up before its limit applies.

Stock, cart and orders PRO

See stock alongside your formula ingredients, build a shopping cart, and track orders. Making a batch deducts what you used. There are no automatic low-stock alerts.

Export to PDF, JSON and CSV PRO

Export a formula for sharing, printing or archiving, and export material lists as CSV.

QR code generation PRO

Generate a QR code for a formula, and scan one back in with the camera.

Compliance document package PRO

For a completed batch, produce a manufacturing record, a raw-material traceability matrix, an EU allergen declaration, an IFRA certificate, a declaration of conformity, GPSR technical documentation, box labels and a draft of the CLP/GHS hazard information for your safety assessor. The app assembles the paperwork from the data you entered — it does not verify or certify anything.

Stock follows the batch

Finishing a batch deducts what you used from your material stock and keeps the batch as a record.

The IFRA library and everything in this list are part of Professional mode.

IFRA's own standards, kept current

The app ships with no IFRA data. In Professional mode you confirm once and the app downloads IFRA's own standards overview and builds your local library from it. When IFRA publishes a new amendment, Home and the IFRA library tell you, and Update adds its new standards and updates the ones it revises, leaving the rest of your library as it is.

If the download fails, or you keep your own copy of the standards file, import the XLS by hand instead.

Search the imported IFRA library by material or standard to find the entry you need. Searching your own materials and formulas is separate — that works in both modes and needs no subscription.

PV AI BETA PRO

PV AI is built into the app and included with a Professional subscription. There is no API key to buy, no separate Google bill and nothing to set up. Your request goes to our own server, which passes it to Google Cloud Vertex AI running in our own Google Cloud project in the United States, and the answer comes back the same way. We contract with Google and we pay Google — you never do.

Describe what you are after, or point at a formula you like, and get a draft to edit — never a finished product.

Pull a formula out of a PDF, a photo, a web page or pasted text, then check and save it.

Memory you control

PV AI can remember a few short facts about how you work — a material you avoid, the market you sell into. You can read them, switch memory off, and delete them, in Profile.

PV AI is in beta

It can get things wrong. Check anything you rely on yourself — especially IFRA limits and safety data. Features may still change. Every reply has a Report button that emails the response to us.

What PV AI needs

A free Perfumers Vault account — Sign in with Apple or Google — plus a one-off agreement to the AI privacy terms, and an active Professional subscription. Fair-use limits apply rather than unlimited use; the app shows how many prompts you have left. Everything else in the app works without an account.

A shared reference library of materials, by category, with CAS numbers, odour profiles and IFRA notes. Copy any of them into your own materials.

Clear when offline

Without a connection a banner says so, and options that need the internet are greyed out and tell you why. Your formulas, materials and batches keep working.

Everything in Hobbyist, plus the IFRA library and compliance analysis, formula scaling, batch making and completed batches, suppliers, shopping cart and order tracking, PDF/JSON/CSV export, QR codes, the compliance document package, the biometric app lock, and PV AI.
Monthly and yearly plans are available, and they unlock identical features. Prices and any free trial are set per store and per country, so the subscribe screen in the app shows exactly what you will pay and which offer applies to you before you confirm anything. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, and a free trial you do not cancel becomes a paid subscription at the price shown.
